Actress Emma Thompson has spoken out against the use of sloppy language.

The 51-year-old Oscar winner told the Radio Times that people who did not speak properly made her feel "insane".

I agree with maybe using "two" types language esp if young people want to get into business or law when they leave school ,they can hardy look good saying innit to a wealthy client.

speaking as a scottish person...I use words that emma thompson wont use..it's called regional dialect..what she's moaning about is the english language and how people are not using it..she'd come up here and go 'what the hell are u saying' and slang has been aroung for years and years..it'sno more overtaking the language than it's ever been

She's talking a load of b****cks.................................kids have always used a language all their own and its different depending on where they're from. They grow out of it eventually.
